Stem Cell Therapy:
  1. Why should I choose a Biostem Affiliate/Licensee? What makes The Biostem MethodTM different?
The Biostem MethodTM is different! Biostem has developed a process that involves the use of platelet rich plasma injections, low level laser therapy, nutraceutical supplements to stimulate stem cell growth and private labeled hair products. This combination has proven highly effective in restoring hair growth in men and women. This procedure is completely safe and non-invasive. In your complimentary consultation conducted by a trained Biostem affiliate or licensee, you will learn Biostem is doing more than just regrowing hair, we are offering scientific solutions for today's lifestyles!

  2. What is involved with Stem Cell Therapy? Is it safe?
Utilizing equipment cleared by the FDA for soft tissue injection, this procedure is completely safe! Everyone produces stem cells that originate in our bone marrow, live in our tissue, and float freely in our blood. This therapy involves drawing the patient's own blood and using high tech laboratory procedures and equipment to isolate the Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) from the blood. Stem cells and other growth factors are concentrated within the PRP, which is then injected into the scalp area where degenerating hair follicles are causing hair to thin. Since it involves using the patient's own blood, it is a completely safe procedure. Let a trained Biostem affiliate or licensee explain exactly what is involved in this procedure by requesting a complimentary consultation.

  3. How many procedures will I need or how often will I need to repeat a procedure?
Dramatic results have been achieved after only one procedure. This therapy is the latest available in the battle against hair loss and has been used for hair restoration for only the last few years. Original patients having had the treatment are still seeing the same benefit from their one original procedure. Only time will tell just how long the results will last or when, if ever, a repeat procedure is necessary. During your complimentary hair analysis/consultation, a Biostem affiliate or licensee will determine your candidacy and establish realistic expectations for your consideration.

  4. Does it hurt? How painful is the procedure?
All Biostem procedures are virtually painless. Any discomfort involved with the drawing of your blood is no different than when blood is taken for any type of lab work. Local anesthesia may be administered depending on your sensitivity to the treatment. Patients leave after a procedure feeling and looking pretty much the same as when they came in. Any reported discomfort is usually limited to minor soreness in the area from which the blood was taken as well as in the injection area after the anesthesia wears off. This usually lasts for only a few hours. In your complimentary consultation, a Biostem affiliate or licensee can show you just how easy this procedure is.

  5. How soon can I go back to work?
Immediately! Some patients have Stem Cell Hair Restoration Therapy done during an extended lunch hour from their job. Others schedule their procedure on the same day as their complimentary consultation.

  6. Are my results permanent? How long will my new hair last?
Results for original patients have lasted several years with no repeat procedure necessary. No one knows at this point if results are permanent or when, if ever, a repeat procedure will be needed. In your complimentary consultation, a Biostem affiliate or licensee can show you results from original patients from several years ago.

  7. How long does a procedure take?
Usually no longer than an hour or so. Some patients have Stem Cell Hair Restoration Therapy done during an extended lunch hour from their job.

  8. How long will it take for me to see results? How long for my new hair to grow in?
Circumstances vary, but in most cases you will see new growth approximately three months following your procedure. Hair follicles go through cycles of being dormant, resting, and then growing. It will take time for your hair to complete each cycle. During a growth cycle, the average person's hair grows less than a quarter of an inch per month. So, meaningful growth usually takes around six months and some patients are still seeing new growth more than a year after their procedure. In your complimentary consultation, a Biostem affiliate or licensee can go over all the phases of new hair growth.

  9. Is there any follow-up required?
In office laser treatments will be scheduled depending on individual needs as determined by the Biostem physician. There is no additional charge for these treatments for up to one year. In any case, a three month follow up for a physician review is recommended.

  10. Are there any special instructions I need to follow prior to having my procedure?
Five days prior to your procedure we recommend you take a daily dose of BioSTEM Support, a nutraceutical developed in association with a major Florida university research team. This supplement will boost the natural release of your adult stem cells in the days prior to your procedure so there will be an abundance of cells in your PRP to be injected on procedure day. The morning of your procedure we recommend you have a light breakfast. Also, drink plenty of fluids prior to your procedure. The additional hydration aids in the drawing of your blood from which the stem cells are harvested. You will leave your complimentary consultation with all information necessary to plan your procedure.

  11. For the first few day following the procedure, how easy will it be for people to tell I have had "something done"?
Other than the possibility of a little redness for a few hours in the injection area, no one should be able to tell that you have undergone any procedure.

  12. What are Biostem Affiliates/Licensees qualifications?
You should always check and verify the qualifications of any surgeon you are considering for any procedure. All Biostem affiliates and licensees have been completely trained in the Biostem MethodTM, are board certified in their respective states or countries and have met all licensing requirements. All affiliates and licensees are required to maintain certifications and never stop learning about the latest technologies involving hair restoration. Many on the Biostem staff started out right where you are today; concerned about their own personal hair loss, taking control over it, and then joining our team to share their success!
